Orders

How quickly will my order be dispatched?

Orders can take between 2-5 days. We dispatch Monday to Friday, excluding weekends & bank holidays. Orders placed before 1 pm are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Friday afternoon will be processed and dispatched on Monday.

How much does delivery cost?

Our UK Mainland Shipping is £5.00, Standard DPD Courier. Please see our delivery page for more information.

Do you ship outside the United Kingdom?

We currently only ship inside the UK (inc. Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands). Due to COVID and the current Brexit transition, any orders outside UK Mainland are currently been suspended until we are confident that we can continue to offer our customers an excellent delivery service. We hope this can resume soon.

My order is late or missing, what do I do?

All orders are dispatched with a tracking number, if your order is late or missing please contact us, we can advise on the tracking details.

How do I return my order?

Can I amend or cancel my order?

Our warehouse team will begin the process of packing and dispatching your order shortly after we’ve received the order confirmation. If you notice an error or wish to cancel, please email us immediately. Please note that we cannot cancel or amend an order once it has entered dispatch. You will need to receive the item and follow the returns process for unwanted items.

What size are your throws?

Our throws vary between 130x170cms, 140x190cms and 150x183cms, please check the product description to see the products exact size.

Do the blanket measurements include the fringe?

Yes, the longer dimension includes the fringe.

Are the colours accurate on the website?  

Our photos are taken and edited professionally to ensure the colours on our website are matched as accurately as possible. Unfortunately, though, we can’t control the screen settings of individual devices, so colours may display differently on your computer or mobile screen. If the throw arrives and it isn’t the colour you hoped, simply keep it in the bag and we’ll be happy to refund you in accordance with our returns policy.

Maintenance

How can I remove loose fibres or bobbles?

Wool is a natural material with fluffy fibres that will mesh together under friction to form bobbles, called pilling. This is normal and removing bobbles periodically should be considered part of maintaining and caring for wool textiles, not a fault. Use a self-adhesive lint roller to remove loose fibres, then gently skim the de-pilling comb over the blanket in one direction, or tease away by hand.

 

 

How can I clean my blanket?

Pure New Wool is a natural fibre and can actually self-clean itself. The natural breathability of wool means the blanket actually needs washing less than you think and airing outside on the line is often all you need to freshen it up.

For the odd spill, spot cleaning is best. Use a detergent specially formulated for wool, moisten the affected area of your blanket with cold water and work the liquid soap sparingly into the area with a lint-free cloth or sponge. Avoid scrubbing too hard in one place as this can mat and stretch the fabric. It’s better to be very gentle and repeat a few times if necessary.

 

 

Is my blanket machine washable?

Pure wool blankets can be machine washed. Start by checking your machine has a completely cold setting – on some machines the wool setting is not actually cold. Select the minimum spin. Wash your throw separately to avoid colour run and snagging. Choose a mild liquid detergent that is specially formulated for wool. Final rinse softeners may be used but keep the amount to a minimum, as too much will exacerbate felting.
